- AFAIK not for powertrain controllers, they use for this purpose better
- equipped embedded controllers like SAB80C517 (electronic throttles) and
- for engine management SAB80C167. They are build especially for auto-
- motive applications, this means a lot of additional ports for genera-
- ting injection and ignition output, at least you may need a special
- serial interface CAN which is not H/W implemented in the 68EC0x0. I
- think the embedded controllers you may find in those cars are 68HC11
- compatible one for intelligent peripherals like immobilizer etc.
